Newton: Your game; my rules!

The story revolves around a task Raj Kumar Rao aka Newton has to operate successfully. That is conducting successful elections in a Naxal effective area.

He reaches out to exactly the place and he orders the security team to back them up. He sets up an election campaign at an old school building.

Pankaj Tripathi the security guy deceives him into thinking that there is a shooting from Maoists and he just makes him end the election process. They had to leave before the scheduled time.

Other things Pankaj Tripathi does: He forces villagers to vote when media arrives there. He constantly lies to Newton during their whole time at the election-campaign.

In the end, Raj Kumar Rao losses it, he somehow grabs an Ak-47 from a security guard and points out to Pankaj Tripathi when four villagers show up to vote and Tripathi just tells them to fuck off and go to their homes.

Newton goes as far as to risk his life to even make just 4 people vote.

Other than he's courageous, he's loyal and he's dutiful.

As much as you want to admire him, you get to know the harsher truth of systems.

Let's talk about corrupt systems more on The Awakened Youth

Basic education and protection from maoists would empower and develop a sense of safety among these people.

The biggest take away from the movie is, if it is based on real stories at all that there's special requirement for attention and policies for these people.

Watch this movie, not because it's Oscar worthy, but to have a reality check on yourself and systems in general.

In case you're wondering, its title is what Pankaj Tripathi would say to Raj Kumar Rao in the movie. Hahaha!
