Newton: Your game; my rules!

Image
The story revolves around a task Raj Kumar Rao aka Newton has to operate successfully. That is conducting successful elections in a Naxal effective area. He reaches out to exactly the place and he orders the security team to back them up. He sets up an election campaign at an old school building.  Pankaj Tripathi the security guy deceives him into thinking that there is a shooting from Maoists and he just makes him end the election process. They had to leave before the scheduled time.  Other things Pankaj Tripathi does: He forces villagers to vote when media arrives there. Badhai Ho - A rebellious tale

We all have heard of arguments about how ladies get older after age 40. This film actually tells us they can give birth to babies at that age - until and unless it gets biologically impossible for her. Not that they lack emotional strength for that or anything.  This is a great satirical picture of the Indian Society. We are ashamed of our shortcomings because of what will people say. Let me get that straight for you. They'll say mean things. They'll hit on your insecurities. They will try to discourage you. They will not bear open thinking in their narrow minds.  Aayushman Khurana in a scene says, "Yes, aunty! I'm not a good person. I'm bad actually. I can not have the back of my parents when they need me most." For context, this is a story in which his mother gets pregnant in her 40s. They find this embarrassing. And our guy Aayushman and his younger brother have a hard time accepting it. It gets emotional and messy. It entertains you too.  Aayushman actuall...

The Social Dilemma - not a documentry review!

Image
It was an interesting format for a documentry. It was not just a documentry, but a short story was within there too. It was powerful and highly relatable.  In this short story, there are three characters. All are teens of different age. The elder one does not like spending her time on her phone 24*7. She also despises overuse of it by her siblings.  His younger brother does like it very much. Actually, he has been being controlled by all automated alogrithms of social media. They shows us content in our feeds directly influenced by what happens in our real life.  They manage to do it, as they've got people to analyse his perosnal data, trying to not only dictate his attention, but to bring a real change in behaviour that makes him want to use more of their platforms. They show the selected posts that does interest him already, so he gets his believes reinforced by unconscious repitiation. He dramtically ends up in police arrest after joining a political protes...
